Rock in Rio is one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Back in Rio de Janeiro, where it all began back in 1985, it's set to be another spectacular and diverse edition.

With thirty years of history behind it, the festival crams its stages with A-list bands and artists from all over the globe. Metallica, Faith No More and Mötley Crüe were just some of the rock legends to lead the way at 2015's edition – with 2016 taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. This year, rock legends and pop icons come together at the top of the bill as the festival returns home once more.
